when i try to play the new version of chess, it wont work. i have the newest flash, but im not sure about java

these setting work for me and will let you see if you have java.
you need java for games,but not to open them,if you have microsoft VM. go to start button,settings,, control panel open internet options advance tab,scroll down to see if microsoft vm is there if so unclick the 2 java listed. Make sure JIT is checked, click apply then ok. close.this lets msn vm launch games. this will SPEED UP game loading time.if you don’t have msn VM,get it here http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserversystem/ virtualserver/default.mspx

http://www.java.com you have to have it to play yahoo games now, And with the new rooms being all pop-ups, make sure you hold the ctrl button down when entering a room, or hit allow pop-ups,,
