I saw it today, and I didn't understand how she died or if she died, or what. Can someone please help me understand!?!?!?!

In my opinion, I think they all died in the begining of the film and went to hell/silent hill, everyone else in that town died and so did the cult but their blind conviction and denial of allesa's death did not allow them to see that.

I even have seen the movie and the finishing is slightly complicated until eventually you undergo in recommendations that the movie became into in line with a video activity. i've got self assurance they left the finishing open to sequel because of the fact of that. they'd make a sequel if the movie does nicely on video yet i don't think of it did nicely sufficient on the theatre to warrant a sequel. As for the "why", it would look that even nonetheless she became into sucessful in helping Alyssa, she continues to be trapped in her international because of the fact Alyssa is a lonely lady and needs the enterprise or according to probability she has basically been partly sucessful and there continues to be extra revenge available.

the end she was dead, I think she was stuck in purgatory and her husband felt her presence at the end that's why he woke up
