I have never ridden on a public bus, nor do I ever plan on riding on one. For some reason it just seems very uncomfortable to me....

I used to go to from Santa Cruz, CA to Sacramento, CA every other weekend to see my family because I was away at college. I took greyhound and it really sucked because it was a very long bus ride because of the transferring and there was a high chance of missing the transferring bus.

I have ridden on Trailways bus before. Haven't ridden another bus in a very long time. I enjoyed it, but all those stops made for a very long ride! Probably traveled 250 miles, took all day and half the night.

I've always hated riding a bus, because I'm too small.

I slide around and my feet don't touch the floor, because I'm 5'1" and those seats are so big and they are covered in vinyl which is so uncomfortable.

Why don't they put seat belts on buses??? Especially since school children have to ride them? I've often wondered that!!

I've done greyhound alot and it sucks everytime. I went from Portland Maine to Rapid City SD via Boston, Nyc, Chicago, Des Moines, And Omaha. In chicago we got snowed in for 2 days before they opened the highway and had to sit in that miserable station while entrepenuers tried to sell me candy bars and solid gold jewlery everytime i went out to smoke a ciggarette. I've aslo went Palm Springs CA to Forth Smith AR and Back and Back and Back and Back b/c it sure is cheap when you buy advance tickets

When the destination is more important you do what you gotta do. My friend went from Hartford CT to San Francisco, CA. Took her a week!
