I'll try this in Simplified Chinese too..

Would - Use this in asking a question that requires an action

Should - Use this to ask someone for an opinion of action

Have been - This is improper English, but in slang, it means "I did do" or "always did"

Had been - This is improper English, but in slang, it means "I did do" or "always did"

etc - means "and more". It just lets the reader know that you gave examples and that there are more examples, but you do not want to list all of them. Example - I have seen many hairy animals at the zoo today, including bears, tigers, wolves, and etc.

I hope this helps a little. Have fun!

A decade ago to learn English, you had to attend costly English classes or purchase course material like tapes and books. Now you can learn English for free from the comfort of your home using the internet. The BBC and the British Council offer a number of online courses which teach written and spoken English. You can also improve your English by watching television programs and reading English newspapers. For more information, visit http://tinyurl.com/qnzpt

well maybe you could go your local community college and take a class in english. sometimes they do offer classes called english as a second language. you can also get a book of translation. and another good tip i tell my parents of students that i teach where english is not the dominant language used at home. turn your tv set to closed captioned for the hearing impaired. that way all the words that are being used are flashed on the tv screen. so that way you can hear the english language being spoken and read how to speak it too. hope this helps somewhat.

Hi Fahad, first, you should have asked 'How can I improve my English?'
By a regular dose of reading, listening, writing and speaking you should be able to gently push forward your English standard.
As for using the words you have stated, consult any standard book on English grammar and you should be able to have a better understanding of how they are used.
If you really need further regular help on how to enhance your English language skills, you may e-mail at samsguide@hotmail.com.

You 'should' take an english class.

You 'would have' learned a lot in that class if you took it last year.

You 'would have' been speaking better english already if you 'had been' in that class.

would...when you are gonna ask if a person would do something..like would you ever go on a roller coster?
should.... should you be eating that?
have you ever been to school?
hey! have you ever gone to the park? yes, i have been there.

you could listen to tapes and repeat wat they say...
and try to talk even though you might now be sure of what you are saying or if you are saying it right, and don't be embarrassed or mad...andmakes sure the person always corrects you ...b/c that's how you learn
