shirts with buttons buttoned all the way to the top. I see that those victorian collared shirts are showing up in mags again. Is this buttoned up look coming back? Girls, would you or do you wear your clothes this way? Boys, do you like this look and why?

My question was a fashion question really, My boy friend likes all kinds of looks on my (actually I think he just like me the best) but this one he requests the most. It's not a control thing.

Man these answers are really negative. As you said, he requests this of you? Doesn't sound like he is demanding anything from you so, do it if you like. As to your fashion question, sometimes I like this look but it depends on the woman. Buttoned up the the neck can be very romantic and a nice change. The look is coming back, especially in the workplace so I guess it is in style but hey, wear it for you and your man only if it's in style for you. Also this means you can ask him to do things for you too. Maybe it's not a bad deal in the end.

Do you like that style? Do you feel comfortable wearing your shirts that way? Do you feel as if you will like your shirts buttoned all the way up? These are the questions that you should be asking yourself. If for one second the answer to any of these questions is no. Then don't do it. You should dress to please you first., and when a person starts trying to tell you how to change it does not stop. That is called controlling behavior.

The really frilly elegant clothes from the past look very nice on girls with long hair , my wife has some Spanish shirts long sleeve that makes her look even more beautiful, many small cutouts of flowers and things really nice from the shoulder down and around the neck, so why is because its very Cassie and European both sexy and respectable as well as a higher level of taste.

I don't understand why people are so upset when a guy tells a gal what he likes to see her wear. It's OK for strangers who publish fashion magazines to tell her these things, but when an individual guy speaks up, he's some kind of terrible person. In fact it seems a lot of fashion magazines tell gals they're supposed to be as skinny as bean poles. I guess the profit motive makes everything OK, right?

First of all, you shouldn't type so many words because that means you're thinking too much. Just do whatever your current boyfriend says because you'll have a new boyfriend next week who will be twice as cool.

Dont wear it just because he told you to and if its not something you want to do. He likes you for you, not how you dress. If he's trying to change you into something youre not or dont want to be you should tell him to accept you the way you are!

the victorian look is certainly in. Maybe he likes the innocent girl look.
But you have to ask yourself, do you want to wear those clothes he wants *you* to wear? Or do you want to wear them. I mean, how cool is he to tell you what to wear?

Yeah...I don't like those shirts. I think they're tacky. Have your boyfriend wear something you want to see him in.

If he is telling you what to wear now, it can only get worse but if you don't mind him telling you what to wear, then what's the harm!
