The best place to start is to keep track of what you eat. If you go to www.fitday.com, you can set up profile. After you set it up you can enter your goals etc. and it will give you graphs and feedback on how you are doing. It already has a huge list of foods with all the nutrition information so you don't have to look that all up. There is also a daily jounal that I found to be very helpful. Best of all, its free.
Second, I would suggust you go to www.bodybuilding.com. There you will be able to find a great diet and exercise program that will help you with your goals. There is also a fat loss and diet forum that can be very helpful as people comment on your deit and things that you could be doing better, as well as moral support.
Lastly, know that you are a beautiful person. Don't let the magazines or TV tell you what you should look like. Trust in yourself, and embrace your life. You need to acknowledge the beauty on the inside before you can expect anyone else to think the same about you on the outside.

Okay, first of all, never crash diet. Here's what happens when you do:
you lose weight fast, your body becomes used to receiving that little amount of food. You become satisfied with that weight and think that you can eat more and enjoy, but when you do, you will balloon faster than ever because as far as your body is concerned, you're overfeeding that shrunken stomach.
The best way is to lose weight gradually. I got sick once and lost 3 kg in one week. That was mighty unpleasant because there are effects such as hair loss.
Exercise regularly and make sure that you eat balanced meals. This means that you can cut down your portions but still have all the necessary stuff. This way, you'll be toning yourself AND losing weight.
Also, just take note that exercise takes time. But when there are results, they will be good.

eat less, exercise more. That is truly the answer. Walk or ride a bike for at least thirty minutes at least 3 times a week and leave the last 1or 2 bites of everything you eat. If you do this you will lose weight. But if you are in the' It doesn't matter what I do' state of mind you will sabotage yourself. Try keeping a food diary you will be very surprised at how many things you will 'take just a bite of' to keep yourself heavy. Also why fore do you think skinny is pretty? It might be better if you learn to love yourself and see if you drop the weight when you come to terms with who you are......
just my thoughts

You aren't looking for the easiest - but the most effective. The easiest is pills, diets, and other temporary methods. You need to exercise, but not just any exercise - you need to do something that focuses on your core and uses a wide variety of methods. I recommend yoga and pilates. Also, don't diet, but don't eat if you aren't hungry, either. Good luck!

I understand your feelings. If we don't feel good about our weight, we are miserable. No matter what anyone tells us. I try to keep myself busy because I eat from boredom. Diet pills don't work anyway. Try to walk 2 miles a day and in 6 months you will notice a difference.

You should remain active. Keep exercising no matter what! Run in place, it doesn't matter, just burn those carbs.
Another thing is to eat healthy. Don't eat junk foods and fatty foods like candy or a huge piece of deep fried chicken.
You also must remain positive! Keep saying to yourself in the morning that you will lose weight. Keeping yourself in check for psychological needs is important too.

Moderate and balanced diet coupled with moderate daily exercise should lead you to the right track in your journey towards a slim figure! As for being pretty, always remind yourself 'Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder'!

if 30 mins exercise a day seems a bit long try a ten minute walk at least once a day more if you can fit them in
outside is good but if it raining or late at night try marching around the house
i lost about 5 kilos doing this (approx15lbs) after having a baby

No pills, no diets and no exercise? You are bound to gain weight unless you have high metabolism. Hmmm..you should exercise regularly and eat moderately, abstaining from "bad" food. Pills can work too.
