I'm not sure what my "Biggest" reason, but I'll share a few of the reasons, I eat Fast food 1) I'm a season ticket holder for many sports at the local college, so it just better to get something on the way, and only get a drink and snack at high arena prices 2) My Children really want / like the toy being offered in kid's meal and / or I like the special "limited time" sandwich being offered 3) Eatting out can be used as a reward for my children 4) As I single father of two, ther days I just don't want to cook, or i'm having what I like to call a "lazy day"

the nose and mouth are connected at the back of the throat, 90% of taste is smell. if you hold your nose closed, you wont be able to taste hardly anything.

closing your eyes would have no effect because taste is not based on vision, it is based on smell.

Your body is using 5 senses at once. When you turn off one, or just don't use one, your body can concentrate better on the other ones. So when you close your eyes you can taste something better.
