im afraid my dad might hit me, he almost did earlier, then he told me i didnt know anything, i dont know what to do!!

Find an adult around you to tell, if he hits you call the cops.
If you rolled your eyes at him I'd understand him being mad. He shouldn't threaten to hurt you but you should also be respectful.

The good thing is that he DID NOT HIT YOU, but it is a scary thing, if you know what you did maybe tell your dad when he is calm that you are sorry for acting that way, but that he really scared you in how he reacted, this will let him know what he was thinking at the time. If this is a common feeling you have talk with a school counselor or the church for support. Good Luck

First, try to stay out of his way and let him cool off. Second, if you feel like you are in danger, or if he ever does hit you, or if this is a regular pattern - you need to speak with a trusted adult. Maybe a school teacher or counselor, someone from church, the parent of a good friend? If he is violent, then he needs help, and it may even be necessary to bring the police into the matter.

Seeing things like this really irks me. If your dad was going to "spank" you for doing something wrong, then you deserve the discipline. If he wants to beat the stones out of you, different story. I am thinking that this has to do with you being a brat and dad wanting to discipline you, and now you are making it into a public issue and threatening legal action. I personally think that this is a classic case of how kids are running rampant, and parents having literally no rights anymore to control their kids. If you threaten a "spanking", watch out, the cops will be there and your going to jail. Pathetic. Kids have no idea what they have until it is gone.

If you are really scared you should let another adult know. Maybe that person can sit down with you and him and talk it out. Don't be afraid. there is help out there for you.

If he has hit you, tell an adult (your mom would be best first). If she doesn't believe you then tell a trusted adult such as your teacher and or guidance counselor at school.
If he hasn't, let him know that his action/reaction scared you.
