Poeple on here claim that they respect a soldier ie one of their own because he kills at the orders of his masters enenmies of his country. ABecause he is doing his dutry for the county he then desrves respect. OK but u find yourself in a position ie like the civil war where sons and fathers and brothers and brothers faimliy fought each othr because they saw each other as the ememy and you are drinking and laughing with one of your soldfiers who then turns to your mother and puts a bullet in her brian because he was ordered to would u after he kiled your mum respect him and just continu laughing and singing with him.

No soldier is obligated to carry out an illegal order such as you have described.

You would be much better off if you spent your time studying spelling, grammar, and history.

The mother presumably is a civilian and soldiers are not meant to kill civilians. That they do is a fact, confirmed daily. To laugh and sing after the murder of any mother mine or yours sounds insane. For a fatal twist - in the second world war a German said "I have your two sons before the firing squad". " However I give you a choice. Which son will I kill and which I save".
As to Civil war you need to read and learn. Like most of your answerers. There would be no laughin' or singin' for any such soldier who will meet his end.
Dizzy.

That's a very extreme scenario. I would hope that not only our soldiers but any soldier would refuse to carry out such an order.
There are certainly regimes under which this type of order could be given. And if it were to happen and I encountered the soldier who did that, he would not live very long.

We are all mindless sheep in this world. The real question is: would he kill your mother after/while he was laughing and singing with you just because he was ordered to? If someone told you to jump off a cliff, would you do it? The sad part is that most of us would.

I would not laugh and sing with anyone after they had committed a murder. Regardless of who the victim is. Killing unarmed people is wrong, but killing someone with a weapon that is behaving like they want to hurt me, nothing is wrong with that.

I don't know what i would really do because I am not in that situation. Neither do you. You can say what you think you would do, but life has a way of turning 'I would never do that' into 'Well, I only did it once'.
