He is on his number 3 Game Boy sp advanced... Lifespan is about 2yrs.... Will the psp last as long ?

I'd say yes, but get him a screen protector and case protector that slides over it to protect the screen from scratched. I got one for my Wife and she ordered a hard cover protector, it will also abosorb the shock if he drop it, which can cause distortion in the screen after repeated drops

it depends on how your money is, if you make enough to where if something happens to it and you're like "o well" that i might say get it for the baby, but if not then you would have t give him a whole lot of stuff to make up for it, they're no cheap, and they have things that a responsible person can handle (memory card is about the size of a cingular's sim card, screen can get cracked, the game cd are small and easy to scratch up and mess up) but you didnt tell us what level of mentally challenged this kid is, that matters the most

no, the psp is pretty much a mini computer, lcd screen etc. it's sturdy, but more delicate than a game boy by far

Paint a cardboard box, He'll know the difference. Cost ya $1 for paint, And if he starts chewing on the box, It can be replaced cheaply

its pretty sturdy but for like 20 bucks you can get a protective case he can put on it that remains on while he plays
