Why do ppl think they are so smart when they tell a homeless person "go get a job" ????

I don't think it's being "smart"! I worked for a place that donated to a hard-luck couple, until our employees saw them using our donations repeatedly at the nearest liquor store! So, I think there are those down on their luck who would work if they could, but seen to many local homeless? supposeds, on corners eating fast food, smoking, and drinking to agree with your would if could question! And lots of places have kind christian owners like where I worked, who will give you a chance, but you'd be surprised how many down on their luck people thought they were to good to do dishes, or wait tables, and just wouldn't show up after needing a job desperately! But, yes, it makes some people feel superior to diss on others period!

They are not so smart, I think because their lives are going great, they think that other peoples lives should or are the same, if he or her was able or available to get a job, I think they would. Don't understand myself why someone would be in that situation, but I don't know how everyones lives their lives.

I think the same thing when i'm pouring a beer and some guys says "nice head baby!" or carrying jugs of beer to a table when the most slobbish male in the group yells out "hey baby, show us your jugs!" I swear they think they are the only person to have ever said that. Morons!
