Ask your teacher before or after school for some extra help. Your willingness to really want to learn the material will impress him or her and they will help you in any way they can. Remember: teachers want you to succeed!

Have you spoken with your instructor? That's a good place to start. Make an appointment to discuss your problems. Sometimes they can arrange an upper level student or aide to tutor you. It could be the instructors style of teaching. Sometimes it helps to drop the class and try again with a different instructor. Only do this if you can drop without any penalty.
