No. I think that if a player intentionally injures another player like Bertuzzi did to Moore they should be suspended for as long as the injured player is out.

I love Todd Bertuzzi. I love his passion on the ice. You cant knock him for his shot at Moore - he got caught up in the moment and let his emotions take over.
It would be a different story if he would have acted any other way after the incident - but he truly felt remorseful. He plays with his heart on his sleeve and gives 100% every shift of every game.

I try to play just like Todd. He is a hard nosed hockey player that also has the ability to score. which is a rare combo in todays NHL.

I wish he was on my team. GO WINGS

No. I cannot say that I do. He should have received a much longer suspension for his cheap shot on Steve Moore. It was hardly a slap on the wrist and Bertuzzi only apologized because he did not want to lose any money from his contract.

Furthermore, I cannot figure out why he was chosen to represent Team Canada in the Olympics in Torino??? Certainly a Wayne Gretzky blunder there... Even worse that Paul Kariya was left off that roster!

With the change in rules emphasis in the NHL since the lock out the NHL is no place for a joker like Todd Bertuzzi.

Todd Bertuzzi should retire and go into the ring to battle Tonya Harding... That would suit him well!

Yes, He made a mistake by going after a player who wasn't prepared to fight back. However, Moore was in the NHL as an instigator type of player who jambed out when someone else was the aggressor. hopefully bertuzzi can come back to his previous style of play and that fans will give him a break.

yes, Moore went after Naslund and Bertuzzi wanted Moore for what he did and he chickened out. Bertuzzi should of used his head but in the middle of the action he was mad and did the wrong thing. but Moore wouldn't of had a long career anyways he was a call up at most. and now his parents are trying to sue Bertuzzi that's bull ****.

I don't mind him, but I agree that what he did to Steve Moore deserved more than a year suspension.

Nope. He's got skills though. He ended someone else's career.
