You want to get your confidence back from ‘where’???
What do you mean by… get it back?
Did you lose it somewhere?

Is the ‘friend’ a better person than you?
Do you believe you are ‘unworthy’ to be associated with the friend?

Sorry, but all I can suggest to you is that you ‘believe in yourself’…
If you want to ask the person to go out with you, go straight out and ask !!!
The worst that can happen is for the friend to say ‘No’ which is something that can happen no matter how confident you feel in yourself !!!

Good luck !!!

listen........confidence is what you have total control over! nothing outside can do anything to your confidence. Even then if u feel, u dnt have confidence and all that, then give yourself some time a few hours, take a pen and paper, write your strengths, good points, what good u have done to your friends, to your family, or even if u have helped some unknown person and remember their smiles, how good they felt because of your help! this will definitely make you smile. Once you start feelng good about yourself, it will make all the difference in the world! when ever you feel down, do this! N go ahead, dont think so much aboutasking out, just do it!

You have nothing to lose. Take a deep breath and go for it, and if she says no, you'll realize there are so many other awesome opportunities. If she says yes, it will boost your confidence. Don't beat yourself up because of a girl. Try practicing in front a friend, or a mirror. If you come across as confidence, it will definitely show. Good luck!

okay so think about it. if they are your friend, like a good friend then the conversation could go two ways

one: bla bla bla will you go out with me?
YES! of course! i have liked you more than a friend to but i was afraid you might say no
! im so glad you aksed or something liek that...

or

will you go out ith me
well im really sorry bvut i dont want to ruin what a great friendshiop we havve.,

neither one sounds that bad. the worst thing tey say is no. its just a two letter word with no significance that grown ups use over small children to prove there power--- not very intimidating. good luck!

Sometimes we do what we want to do even if our hearts are beating a mile a minute and our knees are knocking together. Life means taking risks and nothing is guaranteed, so go ahead and ask your friend out. What have you got to lose? I hope it turns out great for both of you.
