Saturday Night Live needs to replace Loren Michael's. His humor was great when the show started out but he is so strict about what he will or won't allow anymore that he has forgotten to just let the cast be funny. Also, they have too many cast members now.
The office, on the other hand, is new, fresh and hasn't even begun to run out of topics to tickle our funny bones with yet. Not to mention the whole Jim and Pam ("Jam") thread running through it to gently massage our hearts.

Nothing against SNL but it has been going on for a very long time. Sometimes people just need something new. A cast that hasn't lived up to the SNL standard we've become used to probably also has an effect as well.

First of all, the blank expressions on their faces is hilarious or when someone smirks, like Jim. Jim & Pam are so great together. Steve Carrell is a classic. How can one boss be such an idiot???? Funny, funny stuff all the time. I only watch SNL for the guest hosts........they are usually funnier than the staff.

Saturday Night Live is played out. It hasn't been funny for quite a few years. It's 70% commercials and 30% bad acting. Buy yourself a guitar and practice on Saturday nights during the SNL time slot and your life will improve dramatically.

All of the really good comedians have left SNL for movie careers. The new crop aren't so hot. Most of the new skits aren't funny either. I did like the one when Maya Rudolph played Whitney Houston and Keenan Thompson was Bobbi Kristina,
