I am thinking about opening a delivery restaurant. (Like pizza) Any suggestions?

I guess the question isn't specific enough. I know about owning businesses in general. I am a business owner. I am just curious about businesses that provide delivery service specifically. Thank you for your comments.

look at all the costs of running your business before you start and decide on this. your main costs are going to be the facility you use, then the supplies to fix the orders, the cost of hiring people to deliver your product, as well as the expendatures and profits virsus the supply and demand and loss of profits. plus you should have a good starting capital to have as a foundation for your business and it should be enough to be able to cover any and all costs or expenses that may arise - both scheduled expenses and unscheduled expenses. then there is the required need for insurance to cover your business and yourself as well as your workers, fuel expenses, health issues, permits to run and build and maintain your business, employees workmans comp insurance, and other items of interest such as advertising , publicity ads, range of distance you are willing to deliver in radius wise and maintenance and repairs of all your working capital and your business and equipment. take a good hard look at all these and determine from this if it is still a good idea of going out and starting up your own business. the amount of expenses can be very pheonominal. my husband and i hope this will be of a great help to you. and if you do feel that you can handle the operation that you are starting with your business, then start small, and as you gain more and more customers, and better profits, grow from that. your customers are the best source of your success or failure. it really does pay to listen, as you can learn some valuable advice from them and use it to your advantage.
