Jealousy of her rise to fame.
She was accused of stealing money from the fan club.
Guess she was afraid of facing the truth to what she did and thought that she had no other way around her situation.
The movie was supposed to have been as close to the truth as possible. No one will ever know the real reason. You can't get into the mind of someone that is mentally disturbed.
Yolanda is the only one that will ever know the TRUTH!

yolanda was running selena's fan club. i guess people paid a membership fee to be in the club. overtime selena and her family noticed money missing. yolanda was spending the money from the fanclub. selena was on her way to confront and fire yolanda. i think they had a heated argument and i think selena was going to leave after firing yolanda and she shot her. they probably had the talk but yolanda probably said she wanted to confront her in person. i think she went there to kill her. why else would you have a gun.

Yolanda Salvidar killed Selena because she...Hmm I think it was because Selena was going to get the money that Yolanda stole from her.....Or maybe because she was jealous of her? I am not sure...
