With the approach of Halloween drawing ever nearer, I want to dress like a Superhero this year. So far, this is all I know I need...
1. Black Cape with a Red inside lining (somewhere in the range of 5'10-6' ft long)
2. Black Armwarmers that go from my wrist to the shoulder
3. A pair of Steel Gauntlets that go from my hand to my forearm (which I plan to dye Emerald Green)
4. A pair of shiney Black Underwear/Trunks(kinda like what a wrestler would wear)
5. A pair of dark Green or Black leggings that go from my ankle to my knee (leg-warmers, I guess?).
6. A tight, White or dark Green Tunic for a shirt.
I'm basically looking for a place online where I might be able to purchase these items (I'm not sure I would trust Ebay)...I live in Houston, TX, but I haven't had any luck in finding a store that carries any of this. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Re # 1 - Wal Mart, etc. carry great Vampire capes that fit the bill. Around $40 here in Canada.
Re #2 - buy ladies tights and cut them accordingly. You can get them with fabulous patterns, ie fishnett, spiderwebs, diamonds, checkerboard... whatever your inner superhero desires. Stitch some extra elastic in like garters to secure them at shoulders and wrists.
Re #3 - you can't dye steel ( although you can steal dye.) I'd suggest buying silver or gold lame gloves from a store that specializes in exotic dancing gear.
Re #4 - Again, a store for exotic dancers can help you here - they are very accommodating with costumes of all types and for all occasions
Re #5 - since you will be wearing these uner #4, go for long underwear from Wal-Mart or similar store, and dye them accordingly. The underwear will cover the "flap" in the front. Leg warmers are hard to find these days, but you can sometimes get them at dance (ballet) supply stores. There is also an item called "slouch socks", available in many colours, available at Wal-Mart/Kmart stores
Re #6 - Hmmm... you may have to sew this yourself or have a friend do it. I have made dozens of tunics from pillowcases - for children, mostly, I simply cut a "V" from one side and slit armholes, and then belt it. you could dye this together with the leggings if you were so inclined, and pick up a wide, metallic or black belt at the Thrift Shop to make it a Tunic. A King-size pillowcase would probably do it.
Okay, my friend, when you are fully dressed in your superhero costume, may I have a photo? I am lacticrat@yahoo.com. I love your creativity and would really like to see the finished product! (I am going as a groupie of the Blue Man Group - blue wig, blue facepaint, huge false eyelashes and a black bodysuit. If I'm not careful I will look like a giant Smurf!)
Happy Halloween!

I use EBAY all the time. . .I've never had ANY problems with it. You'll look at the sellers "feedback" rating and reports. . .Judge the buyer's comments on the seller. . .
Or, you can use an alternative choice. . .
Amazon.com slightly similar to EBAY, I've never had any problems with them either! Quite honestly, your last choice would be the thrift store/salvation army.
