When I was in high school I was in the girl’s room and some girls had been smoking and had just left. An older teacher came in and I was the only one in there and she turned me in saying that she saw me smoking. I had never smoked a day in my life! The principal did not believe me and I got my first and last detention for this. Later that day she told my sister that she forgot her glasses and was as blind as a bat without them. For what she did to me I considered her an old bat.

Yes...I have! I was in math class and my teacher told me to explain what we had done the previous day to a student who had missed! Well...there were a few girls right behind me that were singing and my teacher shouted "Be quiet"! I thought he meant them singing, but apparently he meant EVERYBODY! He said the next person that talks gets detention! I was still trying to explain the material so I started talking (whispering was more like it) and he gave me detention! I went home and told my parents and they went and talked to my teacher! He said he really didn't realize it was me until it was too late, but I would still have to serve the detention because he didn't want the other students to think he was giving me special privileges! I thought that was sooooo stupid!! I had to end up serving the detention too! Oh well...it was only an hour! And I'm out of school now...so who cares!!!

No. The only time I ever got detention was for not doing my algebra homework & my mom told the principal there was no way I was staying after school because I wouldn't have a way to get home.

Yes, in fact several times.
Me and this other girl in high school
had the same name, she was the bad apple,
but they were putting her detentions on my record.
Took me awhile to get them to believe me and
get it all worked out. And, she did not have to do
the detentions I had already done....go figure??!!!

i have detention almost every day lol i dont mind it that much anymore i guess i got used to it....and yes i have gotten detention for doing absolutly nothing and it kinda sucks lol

No, but when I dumped the rich kids' clothes into the public toilets during their hockey practice afterschool while they were in the gym, others got blamed for it and were suspended and written up.

Not personally, but my sister got a saturday one for 'skipping' because the teacher missed her when taking attendance, even though many classmates vouched that she was there.
