I know that they said one of the planets were not a planet any more. Wondering what new ones they have found! Can any one help me figure out how many planets there are and what the name of them are?

Now there is only eight because the ninth planet Pluto had been left out recently. The eight planets: Mercury, Venus, Mars, Earth, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune.

There are eight planets (the old nine, but without Pluto) and three "dwarf planets" in our solar system. The three dwarf planets are Ceres, Pluto, and Eris.

there are 8 planets but pluto is not a planet anymore.Pluto might be a moon or because it is so so far away.
