Calgary has a very good team put toghether by Darryl Sutter. They have the goaltending, the defense and the offense(they added Tanguay for insurance this summer).
And haven't you noticed the pattern for Canadian teams getting into the Stanley Cup Finals: 1988 Calgary, 1990 Edmonton, 1994 Vancouver, 2005 Calgary, 2006 Edmonton, and 2007 ?
Get it Flames, Oilers, and Canucks. So can it be the Canucks making the Finals this year? We will have to wait and watch to find out!!

I would love if the Devils won, but I can't see it happening. They don't have the defense that makes them powerhouses.

I can see a Flames Stanely Cup win. Kipper has done amazing things in the net, Iginla (I'm sorry if I spelt that wrong) is an amazing player, the defense is solid and the team is hard working. That spells victory all over.

Detriot...if the team stays healthy and isn't cocky then they are definitly contenders. I can't wait to see what Datysuk has to offer. With Hasek in the net and the powerhouse team they are also contenders.

Flyers:::nah. Philly just isn't a winning city. The team is great and has skill, but not the depth.

The Anaheim Ducks will win the 2006-07 NHL Stanley Cup! They have a solid team loaded with talent and excellent leadership... they have unfinished business after last seasons loss to Edmonton in the Conference Finals... Quack! Quack! Quack!

THE FLAMES... The GM pulled his head out and fired himself as the coach, which was his smartest move so far... Miikka Kiprusoff is arguably the best goalie in the NHL, the undoubtly have the best defense, but last years offense was ranked 27th overall, so they added Alex Tanguay to give another scoring threat besides Jerome Iginla... That's abou tit, if it's not them it will be New Jersey

My preseason choice is Anaheim. With the experience their yourng players got in last year's playoffs plus the addition of Chris Pronger, they are the team to beat in my mind.

I'm rooting for San Jose, since it's my home town.
I think Flames may do it since they get better every year.
I live in Vancouver, so do I have to go for Canucks???
