My Frog is entirely white, it's not shedding. It's sitting underwater, and it's not breathing

If its furry white, its dead and covered in fungus. Most frogs wont stay under water for much longer than 10 minutes without coming to the surface.

Frogs hibernate on land, not in water - your frog is dead!

Well, first of all is it supposed to be white? If not then It's probably dead. You can pick it up, if it doesn't respond, then it's dead. Reptiles are less likely to hibernate in captivity because their environment never changes.

Aw. What kind of frog? We have tons in our backyard pond in Louisiana. I encourage anyone to come and take them. I am horrified of frogs.
