What age do boys start shaving.......?

I started at 15, but there is no real set age, its basically whenever it is neccesary, and sometimes it never will be. Race can also affect this, for example most of my Indian friends have fuller beards and it started growing earlier.

I was 16 when I started shaving. I had a friend who started shaving at the age of 11 or 12.

That's an interesting question. My son is 13 and he's starting to grow some hair. It's blonde though and not too noticable. If it was say like black hair, I'm pretty sure he'd have to shave, considering it is rather long. About 1/4 inch.
So I suppose it would depend on the color and length. And ofcourse if you want a beard or mustache. I think young men these days look a little handsome with them, but definitley only if they're kept up nicely.

Not all men shave.

Some men do not grow facial hair, so shaving is not neccessary.

Some men undergo electrolysis to permanently remove hair, which again means no shaving. (This is not as uncommon as it sounds. Men prone to shaving bumps in the armed forces often do this as the temporary pain of the needle is more than compensated by the loss of discomfort of the bumps.)

Male facial hair is a secondary sexual characteristic, one of the later ones. Growth starts as puberty runs down, usually around 14-17 years of age.

Varies, I started shaving at 17. Most will not have any visable stubbles after shaving and will only need to shave about once a week.
