Ask the abuser to get help. If that is out of the question and you can't get away try to keep a cell phone on you all the time so that you can reach the police.
You can also go to the Courts for a Restraining Order, which will cost you.
Depending on how abuses this person it a Restraining Order can be dangerous and can set them off when presented.

Try this: The number for the National Domestic Violence Hotline (NDVH) is 800-799-7233. You can also visit the NDVH Web site: http://www.ndvh.org.

Report it to the highest level of command. That should put a stop to it, because it is such an issue these days that anyone in any sort of professional position can get fired for it. If it happens to be the highest in command doing the abuse, find an alternative job elsewhere, then write a complaint to that person. If they are cowards, they will tell you to quit, but not ezpect that you will - if you can show them that you have an alernative, they may make concessions, and things should be under control then. Good Luck.
