Yes I sure have--I worked for many years as an office administrator for a large marketing firm and now I am a cook in remote camps for oil rigs and love it as I get to travel to beautiful areas in the Rocky Mountains that the public do not get to see. I am no longer stuck behind a desk and get to get out with nature and meet some fabulous people.

Changing careers midstream rules. As long as you stay on the raft. Usually the career has something to do with what you have done before. Opportunity makes itself known when your working at something else. Your life experience and gained common sense makes new things easier. The Internet makes research much easier.
Almost every American will have to change careers at one point or another.

I did, and when I realized there were people who had been with the company longer than I had been alive, I knew I was headed for a dead end. I quit, took out student loans, went back to school, and really struggled for a few years. It has been TOTALLY worth it, though. I love what I do now, and am so glad I had the guts. I was scared when I quit, but I liked the alternative even less.

I labored for Corporate America for just about two decades and obtained uninterested! I did a entire bunch of study and determined to stop and grow to be my possess boss. VERY horrifying! But, it has all labored out to my advantage. Went from a Collector to an Equipment Leasing Broker. Now, I come and cross as I please and earn more money than ever earlier than. Good success in what ever you do, however do your study first!

went from waitress to full time mom to realtor to massage therapist. big changes. it was hard but very rewarding. and good decisions....i love my job now
