look around on ebay for oyur model laptop screen and purchase it then take your laptop and the new screen to a computer shop they should only charge you 1 hr labor if you have the part already and you will be paying less that way but purchasing on ebay is no gaurantee that the replacement will work :-o

Parts like this are not serviceable by consumers, there is simply too much technical knowledge, parts, and know-how required. Laptop service centers, and services like Best Buy or CompUSA can repair laptop screens for several hundred dollars. However, in my opinion it is usually better to just get an entirely new laptop.

Well, In general if you mean literally BROKEN, (Cracked, Shattered, etc) then I don't think it's much worth repairing but possible Replacement would be the best...
On the other hand if the screen is physically OK, but has no image, blurred, low light, etc. Then you may consider replacing the inverter or back-lights or other related items...
