I just set up a computer learning center for kids and am wondering what i the best approach to market the center to boost awareness and enrollment. My center is situated in a very densely populated area but I have a very tight budget as the set-up cost of the center was pretty high. Any suggestions?

Word-of-mouth is very cheap. Do you know any parents or teachers? Are there any parent, teacher, or PTA meetings at which you could make brief presentations? There is also the risky option of offering a free session or two.

Go directly to the schools and talk to the principals. Most principals will allow you to pass out flyers in the students mail boxes if will benefit them educationally. Some schools even have newsletters that they may allow you to place an ad in.
Another idea is go to some of the neighborhoods that have homeowners associations. See if they will allow you to place an ad in their newsletter. Our association will place ads for $150 per month and it reaches 2000 homes.

You may want to even print up flyers, go to little league games, soccer games, etc. and put them on the cars of the parents.
