Good question this! I have not heard what they would do to fix things. They just criticize others. I do not think that have any answers. But I do think that if they get into office, they will continue to blame everything on on conservatives. No just Republicans, but conservatives. No matter what the politics.

I hope Joseph Lieberman runs on separate ticket. He is not perfect, but he is honest. Him I could vote for. Even if he does remind me of Willy from ALF.

I believe nearly every single American are patriotic, liberals or conservative. Regardless of which party would be in power, liberals and conservatives would try their best to protect this Country from terrorism. The problem the Americans now have is both parties have politicized many issues, and both sides have very different opinions. Only history could make an unbiased judgement. No Americans, liberal or not, would ever think of doing any of the 11 steps you mentioned, don't you even know the difference between a terrorist and a liberal American?
