what temp tap water? how hot is room? sitting on what surface? in what kind of container? surface area of container?

too many variables to answer that one..sorry

The question has missing parameters... What is the Temperature of the tap water and what is the Coefficient of Heat of that certain container? This has someting to do with Thermodynamics and Heat transfer... Has to do with Atmosperic and barometric pressure too. he he he..

Haven't got the patience to wait for the tap water to cool down. But then, I guess we're lucky to have hot running water, both taps.
