I have a Nokia 6236i. This problem started a few weeks ago. Every since the headset indicator is on and the only way to use the phone is either with the loudspeaker or a headset. The phone always thinks the headset is connected even when it is not. The earpiece on the phone will not work because of this. I had this problem with my wifes VX6000 and it was a moisture problem. I opened my phone up and did not see any signs of liquid damage. Usually you can see the green stains on the circuit card if the phone has had any contact with water. I was wondering if there was any button sequence I could push when it was powering up to maybe some how clear out the memory. There has to be something I can do. Thanks for any help.

Take it to your service provider b/c that bad boy is messed up!!! I had a phone that has done the same thing before and later on, it only gotten worse when I didn't do anything for it. So just take it and get it fixed as soon as possible. Trust me!!!
