OKay I know he is a rapist, I just heard that it was on the DVD, that they didn't keep the scene because it would alter her character too much. Sorry about the confusion.

I own the complete second season of SVU and it has deleted scenes from episodes, in one of them Olivia does find her father They were deleted from the episode Taken....

1st scene
Olivia goes to find out about arrangements that her mother had made for her funeral and stuff like that when she died, she finds out the plans have already been taken care of and then is given a key belonging to a safe deposit box containing a letter written by her mother.

2nd
In the next scene Olivia is at her mothers funeral and runs into her mother friend/drinking buddy. Olivia goes up to and demands that she tell her who her father is in which her mothers friend replies "Olivia stop this please. All I know is that your mother loved you". Then Olivia smacks her across the face(and everyone in the room is staring at them) and takes her into the hall where Olivia says "You went to grad school with her, give me his name". She tells Olivia that his name is Robert Spencer and is a professor of psychiatry at Barrett..

3rd
In the last scene Olivia goes to Barrett to find her father. She tells him she doesnt know why she came to see him. She talks to him and learns that he didn't know her mother was pregnant and that her mother didn't tell him because he would've encouraged her to end the pregnancy. They then sit down and he explains that after finals were over and they celebrated and had too much to drink and he had too much to smoke and they had a dorm room to themselves. Olivia asks him if he raped her and he claims that he doesn't know how to answer that and said "Today sex is defined. It's delineated. The rules of engagement are clear. No means no, yes means yes. Thirty plus years ago that wasn't the case". Then he gives her a file of his medical history and says "I'd like it if we could get to know each other". Then says "If it's alright I'd like to call you". Olivia replies "I don't know, I don't know", and then leaves....
you kind of figure out that she doesnt contact him since its not in the show or the deleated scenes

Actually you are correct.. I own the complete second season of SVU and yes it does contain deleted scenes from certain episodes, one in which Olivia does find her father.. There are actually three deleted scenes about it. They were deleted from the episode Taken. In that episode she learns that her mother was killed at the subway.

Anyways, Olivia goes to find out about arrangements that her mother had made (for when she died) in which she finds out have already been taken care of and then recieves a key belonging to a safe deposit box containing a letter written by her mother. The following scene Olivia is at her mothers funeral and runs into her mother oldest friend and drinking buddy. Olivia goes up to and demands that she tell her who her father is in which her mothers friend replies "Olivia stop this please. All I know is that your mother loved you". Then Olivia smacks her across the face and takes her into the hall where she says "You went to grad school with her, give me his name". She then learns that his name is Robert Spencer and is a professor of psychiatry at Barrett.. In the last scene Olivia goes to Barrett to find him. She talks to him and learns that he didn't know her mother was pregnant and that her mother didn't tell him because he would've encouraged her to end the pregnancy. They then sit down on a bench and he explains that after finals were over and they celebrated and had too much to drink and he had too much to smoke and they had a dorm room to themselves and Olivia asks him if he forced himself on her and if he raped her and he claims that he doesn't know how to answer that and said "Today sex is defined. It's delineated. The rules of engagement are clear. No mean no, yes means yes. Thirty plus years ago that wasn't the case". Then he gives her a file of his medical history and says "I'd like it if we could get to know each other". Then says "If it's alright I'd like to call you". Olivia replies "I don't know, I don't know", and then leaves..

That's the majority of the script from the deleted scenes..

If you have anymore questions about SVU, don't hesitate to ask. You can email me anytime if you'd like. I'm a huge SVU fan and can pretty much answer any question you have lol.. I also have an SVU xanga site. http://www.xanga.com/lilsvufan feel free to check it out.

Anyways, about the deleted scenes, the reason why nobody knows about them is because they decided not to add them to the show, which is why they are deleted scenes lol.. The deleted scenes on the season 2 dvd set are just bonus features meant for entertainment..

I hope this clears everything up for you. :)

Her "daddy" dearest was an attacker. She conceived that way. If Olivia found him, we would have seen it. She does look for him! She is seen reviewing the statement her mother gave to authorities.
