Interview all the way! If you read the book, Queen of the Damned was a total dissapointment. It left out the best parts of it.

Interview was a million times better.
Neither one followed the books too closely, but Interview had a more authentic feel to it, it was more like it was a documentary of a real vampire's life than a silly fantasy of a vampire turned rockstar.

Interview was true to the book and had higher caliber actors. I didn't 'buy' the leading actress in Queen, although I am pretty easily entertained and enjoyed the movie, but loved Ann Rice's book.

Interview.
It had a better cast and less dependence on the sound track to save it.
Storywise, they both stink as vampires are neither gay nor communal. They eat the men and seduce the women, like gorillas. There is room for only one dominant male.
