There is an organisation based in Orange County, California called "Talking About Curing Autism (T.A.C.A.)" run by Lisa Ackerman. This ground consists of other parents, professionals, and autism experts who are proponents of the biomedical aspect of curing autism.

They have support groups and parent advocates, IEP seminars, and gluten-free/casein-free picnics/events. There is even a library of resources, free for people who are members.

The website is: www.tacanow.org

They have a cross-over of members who are with Cure Autism Now International (www.cureautismnow.org) founded by Portia Iverson and Jon Shestack, parents of Dov.

Good Luck!

CARD- Center for Autism & Related Disorders
Valuable information found on their website. I work with children in the autistic spectrum and their families. They offer a lot of workshops and support, plus some in home help for families. Good luck.
