You might want to reconsider placing yourself in situations where it looks really bad. Because if it looks really bad to other people, then it's because your in a position where you can easily do something really bad. If your guy isn't good enough for you to reserve certain aspects of your life for him, then he probably isn't the one. After all, how would it look if you walked in the house and your mom was sleeping in the bed with her best friend from work Richard, while your dad was at work?

Why do you wanna sleep with him and "do nothing" ? Is the place so small that there's no other alternative ? That's a bunch of crap. You know it's cheating, but you're asking the question hoping some people will justify what you're doing. If cheating is such a big deal to you, let your guy friend sleep on the couch. Or even better, let him sleep somewhere else. Now that's called not cheating !

sleeping with a guy in bed is not appropriate. you two may not be doing anything sexual but i'm sure the thought of sex is there, somehow. And that alone can be considered cheating. Put yourself in your boyfriend's shoe. how would you feel if you found out that your boyfriend slept on a bed with a girl?

Any thing that takes you emotionally away from the one you proclaim to love is cheating. Yes, I would consider the ones you have mentioned in addition to forming emotional relationships with someone else. This type of unfaithfulness is different than just being friends with someone and share laughs it is when you share a deeper part of yourself and understand the deepest emotions of the other person. Better yet, how would you define it if someone were cheating on you? That would be the best answer to your question :)

Cheating is doing something that your partner would consider as cheating, not what we consider as cheating. So discuss this with him and reach a conclusion.
I would stay out of the bed with a male friend, it is a very intimate place and you could find yourself in a compromising situation.
If you have a fidelity commitment, please honor it, infidelity causes a lot of people a lot of pain and you are surely the one that will pay for it in the long run.
Peace.

Just because you are hanging with a guy who is a friend, that does not mean that you are cheating! It is very healthy to have friends who are of the opposite sex. I think that helps you to get to know what you want in a protential boyfriend.
Sleeping in the same bed with a guy friend does not means that you are cheating because you did not do anything with him.
Think of it the other way... what about sleeping in the bed with your best gal pal? That does not mean anything right! Why should it be more different when it is a guy friend! Of course not! I mean I sometimes think of my guy friends as one of my gal pals because they are the guys that I can get comfortable with and not afraid of them taking adventage of me..

drinks with a guy is ok. Sleeping in the same bed as him is not necessarily cheating but its not exactly appropriate even if you are just friends.

yes that is sexual, maybe not to the female but I can guarantee it is to the guy, no matter how much he claims to only be your friend. He's still a horny male at heart. How would you feel if your boyfriend slept with another female then claimed it wasn't sexual...I for one wouldn't believe him because I know men are pigs, cheating starts when someone starts lusting over someone other than their partner.
