Why can rappers like Dead Prez be racist and get away with it?

Its not just Dead Prez, but Dead Prez is very racist... read their lyrics. Ice Cube raps about KILLING white people. The list goes on.

they can be racist because its there right to be ignorante, i say the hell with it, if they wanna be stupid racist people who complain about racism against them then let them, just shows how stupid they are, and no im not sayin this implys to all black people, just some, and it goes for whites and any other aswell

Well I don't agree with that question. What are Dead Prez rapping about that is racist? African-Americans do not have a history of enslaving or stripping any other race of their identity, religion, way of life, and their rights in a country that doesn't belong to no one else, but the Indians! Society, which is lead by whites, dictate just about everything, Hollywood especially. Our faces aren't on the dollar bill. We don't make the rules!

Probably now not for the reason that hip hop is a hybrid of unique cultures. It's rough to think someone might be dull adequate to be a racist rapper whilst they're naturally borrowing from unique cultures.

Because that is they was they are, although it is stupid that rappers call each other the N word. It actually means an ignorant person. No one really accuses minorities of being racist, its all a load of crap.

Eminem certainly didn't get away with it. But strangely Blacks can be racist without being racist because they are the alleged opressed. Whites thought to be the opressors can be racist. It just seems to be an unwritten rule. Lauren Hill gets away with it saying she'd rather see her kids starve than a white person buy her album...sheesh.

Because people keep buying their junk. I've got a more appropriate name for the stuff than 'rap': 'gripe'. This because the so-called 'rap' I've been subjected-to has invariably been only monotonous, non-musical nonsense griped angrily. Am I missing something profound ?
