depending on what kind of plastic it is, soak it in some warm soapy water with a couple capfuls of bleach, or spritz it with lysol...

Mix a heavy solution of Vinegar Water, and let it sit a couple of days. After that rinse well and let the open air, do the rest. This does work, but I should also note, it takes many "Airing" Days to remove all the odor completely. I once put vitamins in plastic, the above is how I got the odor out.

To get rid of odors in plastic containers, ball up a piece of newspaper and seal it inside the container for a few days.

buy one of those odor bars (metal) it takes away the smell like that it works for fish,garlic,onions etc.

Wash it in Napisan (or bleach) then dry in the sun for at least a couple of hours...
