yes this can occur, its the most horriblest thing know to our hearts. especially when you love them both the same way.... people say its not possible but it is mate, don't let anyone tell you different. sure you can love or lust but when they both do the exact same thing for your emotions man well that is almost too painful. i have suffered this and honestly you need to sit down and have a long hard think about the one you know the best. or who actually knows more about you, sound stupid! well if you think about it the one who does know the most has taken the time to acknowledge your wants and desires, your likes and hates, your fears and fantasys. he will know everything if not most things. good luck but don't play them off one another because only you will be left to be alone.

Yes you can, studies have shown this to be a fact for some individuals. The person must be open and truthful about their orientation before getting in a relationship. Studies have also shown that jealousy is a major issue with people who are polyamory, among other serious issues. If this question you asked involves you, do some research and try to understand it. If it is someone you know then tell them to read about it. The main thing people don't understand about polyamory people is that they do certain things with one person and other things with other people. So (for example) if a polyamory person really, really enjoys having sex with one person, they won't necessarily be having sex with another. Just read about this topic on-line it will help you understand most definitely.

Can but shouldn't. You can't F**K with peoples emotions like this. I am at the other end of this scenario. My ex boyfriend who happens to be the father of the child I am expecting has abandon me for drugs, alcohol and a 34 year old married woman while at the same time telling me he loves me and wants us to be a family. I hurt so bad everyday because this is emotionally abusive. You need to pick one or the other before they both resent you or you hurt to many peoples hearts. I know this is hard but my heart is ruined because of my situation. Please try not to hurt them.

You want only serious answers? No. you need to get serious. There may be certain characteristics that you admire or enjoy about each individual, but you don't love them equally. You may want to ask yourself questions like; Which one do I honestly see myself in a long term relationship with; Which one do I have more common interests with; Who has the ability to turn my frown into a smile; etc.

*Can* you love two people at the same time? Of course, it happens all the time.
*Should* you do so? No, because someone is going to get hurt more than 99% of the time. Even when people say they can handle such things, most of the time they can't. As time goes on, they get more and more resentful that they can't have you all to theirselves, and things start to go downhill, if not just explode.

Well I can see your dilemma, but i think you already know the answer. your going to have to pick one, and if you can not do that then move on with out either one of them. I know that sounds bad, but you wouldn't want to be on the other end of the situation either it's not fair to the other two people involved

I don't think you can "love" two people at the same time.
I think you can "deeply like", or lust for two people at the same time. When your in love, the "tunnel vision" sets in and that single person is what you focus on.

Yeah, but why would you want to hurt the people you love? Cause when they find out about each other you'll be left all alone, Pick one and be true and honest with that one person.

nothing wrong with that, it has been known to happen. you can either see both or keep one as a friend and one as a lover, just be honest with yourself. It is hard when romance happens because the body and mind take over. listen to your heart. and remember the song torn between to lovers.
good luck and may your heart lead the way.

I think you can but in different ways ie one could be a lustful love and the other a respectful love.
This is a little hard to answer unless you have been in the same situation.
