I'm going to be the lone wolf here and say "no", it is not generally acceptable in today's society -- especially in the case of male bisexuals who happen to be married. Society in general frowns upon men who stray from their marriage vows -- even gay men (who are sometimes their sexual partners) oftentime find bisexuals' cheating behavior very offensive and inappropriate and harmful to their female wives.
Male bisexuality, at least, generally is a very private, deeply hidden secret part of a man's life. Married men who are bisexuals and step outside of their marriages take great pains to keep their secret sex lives secret. If they lose the financial and emotional security of marriage, and they find themselves single, they can't really fall back on the gay community to support them -- they are not gay and do not fit into the gay subculture of single men.

Sorry. I'm so far down the page that I had to copy and paste your question. Let's see...
is bisexuality acceptable of today's society?
Some of the bisexuals I know seem to accept today's society and some complain a lot about it.
I think that even more than heteros and homos, I find bi's to be inherently promiscuous, but maybe I'm just player-hating.

First the easy part. Bisexuality is legal -why? Because the law doesn't say that it's illegal. Generally it isn't the sexuality of a person that's illegal, though the practice of it might be in some jurisdictions.
In society as a whole bisexuality isn't really accepted, though a large minority do accept it.

Bisexuality is more accepted in today's society, it is still looked at as strange. Depending on which state you live in determines whether bisexuality or homosexuality is legal or not. Many states like AL or TX have clear cut Sodomy Laws. You can look up your state on line by using a search engine

i became taught also that it became a sin to be any way structure or variety gay yet i do not realize that because i don't think of human beings opt for to be gay. it truly is why lots of them do not tell all of us and some bypass into denial and are very ashamed. i imagine a heterosexual life type would make you happier because you gained't could rigidity about what your kin and acquaintances will say and picture of you. Plus it really is the way God needs it to be. till you attempt to work out what your sexual possibilities are to work out in case you extremely like the smae sex or no longer, i'd bypass with being heterosexual.

Of course it is legal. The Republicans have not yet been successful at legislation sexual orientation yet. I am sure they will try, though.
Acceptable depends on who you ask. I personally dont care what sexual preference anyone is. That being said, as a gay man, I wont date someone who is bi. Its just begging to be cheated on.

Yes, it's as legal as any other sexuality. It's not related to beatiality or child molestation because it does not create victims.
As far as it being "accepted" that's a matter of perspective. I guess it's less threatening to the majority of heterosexual society.

I'm not sure about it being totaly accepted by the general population but it is not illegal to be bi! Whatever you decide to do behind closed doors is ok.

Probably less acctable then homosexuality. While guys might like girls who do each other, girls aren't always that happy with guys that do each other. It's also dangerous and can spred STDs to girls.
Legal, in a few areas still not. Most areas yes.
Do it in any Islamic country and you can expect to be killed. They kill on sight.

Yes, it is quite acceptable it's a great to test out whether you like one sex or both. but the problem is that many gays and lesbians are prone with the idea if bi-sexuals they would rather want us to choose only one then this way we can truly be honest with ourselves.
