It only hurts on the left side, its making me feel sick and it is very clotty and it hurts so much! why is it like this is it normal? this has never happened to me please help!!

Is there a chance that you might be pregnant? Your symptoms sound a bit like ectopic pregnancy symptoms. Ectopic (or tubal) pregnancies are extremely dangerous. You should seek medical help immediately.

How old are you? If you are 40 and up you could be entering the great stage of perimenopause and this is a stage where anything can happen: clots, pains anywhere, hot flashes, heavy periods, headaches and God knows all the changes you go through before you even get to the greatest phase of menopause. But checking with your GYN yearly is a must and anytime you think you are really out of whack, you could just move in if they'd let you!

Definitely go to a gynecologist and have a pelvic exam bc it could be ectopic pregnancy or a miscarriage. If it is a miscarriage don't worry my doctor told me about 80% of first time pregnancies end in miscarriage and the woman may never know the difference.

ohhh...go to a doctor and get it checked out!!!..can be so many things that need attention. Most easily fixed too.
