Yes I do. John's death was a tragedy. Absolutely senseless. I was listening to the Beatles in the early 60's as a young child on the Ed Sullivan show! They were all great and really rocked our world!

When I heard that John had been murdered, it shocked me. These people with answers like "hell, no" are used to their musical icons being murdered by thugs. It happens all the time.
John Lennon was a lyrical genius. I believe he would have continued contributing beautiful music for many years had he lived.
George, though I'm sorry he died, was not all that talented in my opinion. His high-pitched guitar styling didn't agree with my eardrums. I liked him when he was with The Traveling Wilburys.
I'll never forget what Paul said just after John's demise when he was asked what he thought about it and he said "Drag, isn't it?"
I lost all respect for him that day.
Now Paul is a tree-hugging vegetarian who was never any good at writing lyrics other than top 40 cutesy rhymes.
Thanks for letting me vent and...good question.

I can't say that I do, though I know what you mean. Neither of them played a huge part in my life; I'm sure there's work that both of them wrote and performed that I haven't heard or haven't recognized as theirs.

If you really do miss them, maybe you can derive some comfort in knowing that there may be songs that you've yet to discover or, if you've heard everything, that there are aspects of their music that you'll learn to appreciate more and more as the years go by.

By anyone's standards, both of those guys lived incredibly productive and full lives.

It is tragic that they are both gone from the world and I am sure their families and close friends grieve for them constantly.

I however, do not "miss them" because I did not have a personal relationship with them.

They were both brilliant artist and left their mark on the world through their music. Their music is something we can still enjoy; while forever keeping their memory alive.
