By every Index the cost of living has gone up in the last six years.. there is no disputing that..any one of you that says different is Lying !
The cost of housing is cooling down now.. but the last 4 years have rocketed through the roof ?

Statistically, everything has gone up the last 6 years except the average wage and the average savings.
People are gasping, and it isn't long before the next great depression hits. people have overextended, buying their dream homes on adjustable rate mortgages and balloon payments, and we are about to see a slew of foreclosures unseen since the 30s. And people are going to stop paying on their credit cards before they stop paying on their homes, even if they are going to lose them.

But your right about ONE thing, the cost of EVERYTHING has gone up, but that is not limited to Bush' presidency.....Income has gone down while prices have gone up for quite some time now.
For a time there it was a decision on whether to fill my car up, or buy groceries........(: Sad, but true.

Dumb @$$ I live here I know what is going on.What you read in the paper does not even come from here.Building is still booming here and never really stops.
The housing market is cooling on the east coast and if you watch the news you think that what happens there happens everywhere. Well it doesn't those people never come here never even bother to check references about the things they broadcast and print about us.
In short they have their heads as far up their @$$es as you do.

the cost of living where i live has lowered and is the lowest in the nation. i see no problem with that answer. if your looking for someone to blame for your failures, then get up off the coach and look in the mirror.
