I have used MAC and PC. I will trade any MAC for a PC in a heartbeat.

We use the computers for the softwares that we install on them, Most softwares are written for PC first, if not only for PC only.

Somewhat. There are truths about those commercials. I use a Mac at work and have had little problems with it. Where as I've already gone through 2 PC's in two years. MACs rarely get viruses. However, there are less programs, but that is changing. However if you do get a MAC use Safari or Netscape. IE is only IE5 and some of the new websites that you can use on PC's in IE6 and IE7 will not open on the MAC. Hope this helps.

PC anytime of the day, not only does it do more but it is a lot easier and cheaper to upgrade hardwares and softwares which I do alot. For us users who likes to stay up with the pace of technology or try to anyways, it's a lot easier to just go to CompUSA or BestBuy etc and get that new vcard, DDRs, or mobo and plug it in our system. Also I don't get what's all the fuss about viruses and such, if you know your computer and have some common sence then you wouldn't be getting any viruses on your pc. Set up a firewall, have an anti virus software, spyware software and you should be good to go...don't download crap screen savers and proggies from 3rd party sites or visit sites that promise you get all the free proggies and porn u can get LOLZ etc etc. I personally have not been infected by a virus EVER and I use the net A LOT and I download A LOT. If somehow a virus does try to invade my pc my anti virus always blocks it automatically and deletes it and that rarely happens when my antivirus detects one...my pc is clean as bleach.

i dont understand if there is any genuine solutions in here, yet here is a few random strategies I easily have on the concern which i'd desire to or won't have made up: -mutually as its real that many vista shoppers are disappointed, those mac classified ads quite exaggerate it. -the genuine fact is mac os x 10.4 has been out for years and no person's complained approximately it, nor has any microsoft classified ads ever bashed it. -i do think of that xp is the final os microsoft would ever come out with (its the only homestead windows os i will use w/o complaining) yet having extensively utilized vista, i think of microsoft would have taken a super step backward. to not point out thier loss of originality or creativity. (the entitre interface copies the mac interface right down to a similar colorations) -and to the guy who reported vista eighty million, leopard 2 million, would i only say leopard's been out for under some weeks, and 10.4 is so stable, not all seem to desire/like it. vista has been out particularly some months, and that i've got a feeling a number of those copies would have been decrease back or trashed in desire of xp. i might.

No. I still think that Macs are only better for talented artists/writers and people in the publishing field. For mainstream america the PC is the way to go. Macs are for "individualists" not mainstream.

You have to admit the open code prevents all kinds of virus's.
Granted if you want to muck things up it go after the OS that is on 97% of computers.
As far as bouncy bouncy you can fix that.

Not falling for it. My in-laws have a MAC and I've been using PC's since they came out in the early 80's. I find the MAC frustrating but that's just me.

Hello. Mac really IS more reliable than PC. The question is whether or not the difference is worth the cost.

Windows has good point and bad ones. Just like mac. Mac handles video and adobe products much better than windows. Plus viruses are normally built for getting into a windows based system.

Basically it depends on what you need it for.

I just love the fact that in one of the commercials the Mac guy argues that he is better because he is so compatible with everything. Yeah those Macs are known for their high compatibility. :)
