Ok, basically I think (know) that people fart while you are asleep. But my boyfriend says it isn't possible.
Please help us solve this arguement?

well you win ,not just because as a woman you are always correct , but how else can the sometimes bad odour be explained, the next morning. I have been awake reading ,whilst hearing explosions from under the bed covers,coming from a sleeping husband. and i am sure he will tell you he has experienced the same thing.

Have you ever thought that your boyfriend is a dumbass? Your bodily functions do not shut off just because you're asleep. Now, if a dead person farted, that would be nothing short of a miracle. Albeit a smelly, unplesant miracle, but a miracle just the same.

Well, I know you are right, because when you sleep your body relaxes so what ever gasses or air you might have in your intestine or what have you has to some out and it comes out in the form of a fart.

I know this is going to sound like elementary school but, you're both right. Well it all depends on the persons body chemistry and what he had eaten last. Like, if it was beans you wouldn't want to be in the same room with that person.

While you are sleeping you do the same autopilot things you do when you are awake. Passing gas is an autopilot kind of thing. I can't believe he does not know about this already? How long has he been alive himself, without passing gas as he sleeps? this needs to be taken to Guinness and put in the book!

OK I have the best answer!! My hubby just did it last night!! I woke up to a HORRIBLE stench coming from under the covers. He swore this morning it wasnt him- but i had to air the covers out. Now i can tell the difference between our passings, so i know it happens! EWWWWWWW!!!!

Ofcourse they do! I will send your boyfriend a tape of my husband sleeping at night, I get gassed out almost nightly... lol. But, whats worse is when I go down stairs, and our room is next to the kids, I can HEAR HIM ON THE BABY moniter.. ITS SOOOOOO BAD!

it IS possible i am proof as embarassing as this is, i was sleeping next to my boyfriend one night & when i woke up he said did u know u fart u in your sleep? i said i do..hes all yea thats y i moved over..lol
