Should I talk to her about it?

Well, so a friend and I like the same guy... she told me before I realized I liked him.. and now she seems distant.. should I ask her what's going on, or just let it go?

Yeah... ive had this problem not too long ago. It sucks. But you cant deny your feelings and neither can your friend. I would suggest that you be honest with her. But more importantly you should be honest with yourself. Do you really like this guy for the right reasons? In my case it was more a matter of curiosity, cuz he commanded so much attention from my friends. Also, guys sense when girls who are friends like them simultaneously, and it does wonders for their ego at the expense of your feelings. More than anything else you should just remember that he's just a guy... they are a dime a dozen (even the good ones!). If you value your friendship start thinking about how your actions will affect your friend and not necessesarily how you can get the guy. Just be true to yourself and it will all work out. :)

Whatever happens, talk to her (heart-to-heart)!
She may be miffed at you since she said she liked the guy and then, later, you decided you liked him. But you'll never know if you don't talk with her!
Open, honest communication is essential to a good relationship.
P.S. Is this guy all that hot that he's worth possibly losing a friend over?

if this friend means alot to you then yes you should talk to her about it.friends are more important than most people realize.also if you want to lose a friend over a guy then you better make sure he is worth it good luck

well yeah, you like him because she likes him it sounds like. you didn't REALIZE you liked him until she told you that she did.....be a friend....get off it and let her have her crush.
