It was on Thursday night in Philly, was wondering if anyone saw it and how good it was. Thanx in advance for your answers.

I liked it but kinda have mixed feelings about it.
I don't like that they're just ripping off the Mexican telenovela "Betty La Fea"; then again it's produced by Salma Hayek so most likely she bought the rights to it.
At the same time, even though I'm a latina I can't stand telenovelas; they just go on and on and on! Ugly Betty covered about 1 week of telenovela in 1 show so that was kinda cool.
I really liked the gay nephew and I really plan to continue watching as I would like to see what changes Salma made to the script if any. Unfortunately, I know how it ends so there will be no surprises there... :(

I was looking forward to it, and was kinda disappointed since the hype about how good it was far exceeded the show itself...the storyline is cute, she is a good actress, and some of the other characters might be appealing if watched long enough, but on a scale of 1-10, I'd only give it a 7...

She actually isn't all that ugly....imo
