Fresno is a city in California.I think it's considered in central California but I'm not sure and Course Gold is close to the entrance to Yosemite which is a famous landmark in California and just north of Fresno,California.

Yes, Fresno is in central California - Course Gold in in Merced, California. However, the chamber of commerce is trying to make Yosemite, Yosemite County. :)

Fresno, in Fresno County, is 60 miles from Yosemite's south entrance. Coarsegold, in Madera County, is about 20 miles from the same entrance.
