I want to buy a ipod for my sister and i dont know where i can buy one without getting ripped off, who knows a place where i could buy a ipod for good price?

I would go to the Apple store or to an authorized reseller like Best Buy or Target. You won't get ripped off there. There is always some doubt with quality assurance with items from auction sites. Just my opinion, though. But if you are willing to take that risk, get maybe one of the iPod nanos that looked like the full-size iPods, not the newly redesigned ones

fry's electronics or a large city's electronic store... all large citys will have competitive pricing... you take in an add from a competitor and you will see the price drop!! sears also does competitive pricing... so shop carfully and be prepared to take some time to shop around till you get what you want... remember to get a price quote from EVERYWHERE!!!

ehh ipods, uhh please look into the creative zen vision m on buy.com its sooooo much cooler and comes in 5 colors and your sis wont be as frustraded using it. also it is about 229$ on sale for 229$its usally 249$

You could go to any Apple store near you. They have sales and deals on all their products nowadays.

i went on e-bay and got a good one for a reasonable price.and it was brand new.
