I have a wireless router and have my computers attached by cable. Im unfamiliar with the terminology as to how to open up the frequencies or what I do. Should I construct a disc from the main hub and use it on the satellites or should I use the driver disc from the router or what. It works fine obviously with the cable but I really need to find out how to do this. The shame is Im pretty familiar with desktop, tower and notebook but not with networking as Ive had little background.

if you want step by step instead of general instructions, then you need to provide more info...router brand, broadband service type (dsl/cable), etc etc

general instructions are pretty much simple...unplug the modem from the computer. install any wireless cards/adapters -if necessary. hook up the modem to the router and configure

or else you can just follow the router's instructions...they DO include a setup guide with your router.

another way, use the "wireless network wizard setup" from the control panel
