Seriously. Don't they realize that gay people are behind the clothes from oxygen, penshoppe, human...etc? and that the actors they copy don't really dress that way, the gay directors just make them?

Because, many of these men have trouble with their identities, that is why!
They all want to look and act like Piolo Pascual, John Lloyd Cruz, Diether Ocampo, Sam Mihlby, et al........men who many people think are not as masculine as they (the actors) portray themselves to be.
Metrosexuality is an overrated issue. Ho-hum! Why did I have to bother? :(

Because some believe that what is advertised as "cool" is really cool. Ads convince people to feel or do whatever pretty easily there, not all follow, but because majority of the low income earners want to at least look like they have the money to spare, a lot try to keep up with the "trend".

metrosexual is cool. maybe what u r saying is being androgynous which i also think is not cool.
metrosexual is not being afraid to be bold and adventurous in terms of style and colors; and not afraid of sheding off a bit of that "macho" image. it could be fun and sexy. (only if you have the looks to go with the style)
being androgynous is not having decided yet whether they want to look like a man or a woman.
both have nothing to do with homosexuality which is sexual/emotional attraction (wanting to have sex with/wanting to love) people of the same sex.
