Ooo, I don't know. Although, I assume people have been picking their teeth with wood since the caveman era? So I don't know if someone "invented" the toothpick. I think someone was just smart enough to start selling them. Just like nobody invented water... someone put it in a bottle and decided to sell it and we're all dumb enough to buy it.
